I have shifted to using termimal instead of cmd now (just don’t check Use legacy console):
Howver, often the cmd would come out blank or all black. After experimenting enough with colors, finally i found that if i check off Terminal Colors things do get back to normal. Not sure why, but for now it seems to work.
Note: this is still old cmd, without all bells and whistles of new terminal- but is a resizable window with better interactivity.
