Recently started using VS2012 and while coding up a proto for some debug extensions concept I ran into this weird VS bug which causes it to hang up. VS 2012 freezes with message: “Waiting for Background operation to complete”. After searching for a while I bumped into this thread at StackOverflow, and as suggested reset the settings. It so came out that some where my customizations have caused VS to crash:
Bug with VS2012 for sure but it’s good to know the workaround. Clear up all settings and then do them again.
